Are you thriving?

Small, but not insignificant steps. That's how great achievements are accomplished, great growth happens, and great battles won. Please NEVER devalue or underestimate the worth of small, but right steps in a God-direction.

Are we willing to do the "little things" necessary and sow the seeds necessary to grow deep and sustaining life-growth? Discipleship is a process. It's everyday, "little" acts of obedience, surrender, prayer, Bible-reading, faith-sharing, Scripture-memorizing, sin-abandoning, life-purging behaviors.

Want to challenge EVERYONE at Lifehouse to join us in our THRIVE CAMPAIGN! If you haven't gotten a devotional, let us know or pick one up on Sunday.

What "little" thing is God asking you to do today?

It's funny how the coin goes both ways. Most of society takes small but insignificant steps towards compromise and spiritual dryness...and then we notice a ridiculously offensive movie or news headline, we say "How did we get here!?"

Oh, that the opposite would happen...that we could take small, insignificant steps towards God so that months down the road we could step back and say with a smile, "Wow--- how did I get here?!"

Right on!! Let's be counter-cultural and reverse the tide of evil and advance the Cause of God- not through protest and ridiculously irrelevant means but through a reformation of deeds and a revolution of love.
